Bashkiria Emergency Situations Ministry warns residents of whole gale

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkiria warns residents of the republic about dangerous phenomena. According to the press service of the department, wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are predicted in the afternoon in the western part of the republic. In the eastern part in the morning and afternoon of April 7, a stormy wind is expected with gusts of up to 21-26 m/s, snowstorm at night and in the morning, ice, icy roads.

In the western part of the republic, air temperatures at night will reach -4, -9 C, in the afternoon 0, +5 C. In the east, the thermometer bars will show -1, -6 C at night, -2, +3 C during the day.

Visibility deterioration to 1-2 km is possible in some parts of roads.

Cloudy weather with sunny periods is forecast in Ufa in the coming days. Light wet snow is likely in the afternoon, mostly dry at night. The wind will be northern, northwestern 9-14 m/s, with gusts up to 15-20 m/s in the morning and afternoon. The air temperature at night will drop to -3, -5 C, with highs of +2, +4 C during the day.

According to the Beaufort scale, a wind speed of 24-28 m/s corresponds to a “whole gale”. This is when the wind uproots trees, damages light buildings.
