Coronavirus infected number has increased to 840 people in Russia

Today the number of people infected with coronavirus increased by 182 in 18 regions in Russia. It is reported by Rospotrebnadzor.

The total number of cases amounted to 840; cases of infection were recorded in 56 regions of the country. Of these, 38 people recovered.

“Two fatal cases associated with coronavirus infection were registered in Moscow,” the operational headquarters said in a statement. These were two patients aged 73 and 88 years.

The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the week from March 30 to April 5 would be non-working in the country because of the threat of the coronavirus spread.

Four cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Bashkiria. One of them is a child.
