Fourth patient infected with COVID-19 is registered in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, there are already four people with coronavirus infection, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov posted on his Facebook page. “Their condition is stable. They are safely isolated. Their close friends and family members, with whom they contacted recently, are established. All the effective measures that we have taken in connection with the coronavirus pandemic now allow us to control the situation. I ask everyone to stay calm and act according to the plan,” he posted.

At the moment, it is known that the fourth sick person is a resident of the Ufa region who returned from a trip abroad. Upon arrival, he immediately went under quarantine. The second test sample gave a positive result. March 24, the patient was isolated in one of the isolation wards of the infectious diseases hospital No. 4. Relatives of the patient were examined; their samples gave a negative result.

The First Deputy Prime Minister recalled that all the necessary information is published on official websites. The Ministry of Health holds briefings daily at 2.00 pm, with broadcast on the Internet.

Today, the government has instructed to further strengthen control measures at the airport, on the railway, and in public transport.
