1950 Bashkiria residents continue to remain abroad

At present, 1950 residents of Bashkiria continue to stay abroad. This was announced by Timur Mukhametyanov, Chairman of the Republican State Transport Committee at a briefing session in the Government on Monday, March 23.

Airlines continue to export citizens from countries with the coronavirus epidemic, organize regular flights through Moscow, as well as charters.

The final lists of citizens who are abroad will be compiled by the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 26.

All residents of Bashkiria who want to return home are asked to contact the Russian consulates in the host country.

"We are engaged in critical situations. We don't leave our people. We must take home those who are in a desperate situation, at the expense of extrabudgetary funds, help with money, if necessary", said the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov.
