Coronavirus detected in residents of three regions bordering Bashkiria

According to March 17, coronavirus infection was laboratory detected in residents of 3 regions bordering Bashkiria. One case was detected in Tatarstan and the Sverdlovsk Region, and 2 in the Perm Territory. Five people were infected in the Samara Region, located near the western border of the republic.

On March 17, 114 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Russia as a whole, including 21 over the past day. Most cases (55) are in Moscow. There are no death cases from the virus in the country; five people have already recovered.

The coronavirus pandemic center is currently located in Western Europe. The most difficult epidemiological situation is in Italy, where 31.5 thousand people were infected, and the death toll exceeded 2.5 thousand.

In China, where at the end of December last year, the coronavirus began to spread, new cases are practically not registered in the last days.
