Two Bashkir universities are included in Russian universities influence rating

Two Bashkir universities hit the influence rating of the Russian universities compiled by the agency RAEX. Ufa State Petroleum Technical University took 49th place, Bashkir State University - 68th.

The rating of the universities’ impact on society was compiled for the first time. The list includes 75 educational institutions. When determining the impact on society, the university’s contribution to the formation of elites, its role in the scientific community, the authority of the university among young people, and the impact on the Internet audience were taken into account.

The rating is based only on objective statistics from Russian and foreign sources; subjective expert surveys were not conducted. Sources of information were university profiles and data from independent sources: Monitoring of the graduate employment of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Web Of Science Core Collection, Wikipedia, Alexa, a web analytics company, VK and Facebook social networks and the agency data.
