IMPORT Servisnyy
On March 14, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, conducted an emergency response center session to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the republic. He posted on his social media that he would openly and truthfully inform residents of the region about any news related to this virus.
“Yes, so far, we do not have a single patient. But it is possible that they may appear. We will certainly cope with this, but the possible consequences should be minimized, ”the Head of Bashkiria said.
Radiy Khabirov outlined the measures taken by the republic to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
“Firstly, we are now preparing an extensive network for patients treatment if they are. Secondly, I firmly promise that we will inform the residents of the republic about any news related to the virus as openly and truthfully as possible. Starting Monday, we’ll increase the number of operators on the round-the-clock hotline organized by the Ministry of Health RB (8 (347) 286-58-27). Besides, the Ministry of Health RB will conduct daily briefings and provide all reliable information. Thirdly, we will limit mass events. We set a ban on traveling abroad for state employees and restrict trips to Russian regions. Fourth, special attention should be paid to working with the media and public opinion influencers”, Radiy Khabirov said and assured that there was no reason to panic and worry.
“The situation is under strict round-the-clock control. I apologize for the possible inconvenience in organizing preventive measures. But in this case, we prefer to be sure that we will not allow a rather serious illness to spread”, said the Head of Bashkortostan.
As the Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, as of March 13, no cases of coronavirus infection were officially detected in Bashkortostan. 311 residents of the republic, who came from abroad are under the supervision of district medical care workers. They are self-isolated, that is, they are at home in quarantine, which lasts 14 days. Also, in Bashkiria, 481 people were released from quarantine: none of them had the coronavirus confirmed.
