Events with more than 1000 participants are canceled in Bashkortostan

The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov signed a decree on measures to reduce the risk and spread of viral infection. One of the measures is banning cultural, sports, business events with a number of participants of more than 1000 people and with the participation of foreigners. He said this at a briefing session in the Government. So far, it is proposed to cancel or reschedule events after April 20. The Head of the Republic emphasized that the authorities will act depending on the situation and the “quarantine” can be moved in connection with the improvement or deterioration of the situation.

Residents of the republic are advised to refrain from traveling abroad and to regions of the Russian Federation where the spread of the virus is registered and to avoid crowded places.

The heads of enterprises and organizations are recommended to organize disinfection at workplaces.
