Bashkortostan Emergency Situations Ministry warned of strong wind and ice

The Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bashkiria warns of adverse weather events expected during the day: ice, wet snow build-up on wires and trees, as well as wind gusts up to 17 meters per second.

According to the press service of the department, from 8 pm on March 15 to 8 pm on March 16, cloudy weather is forecasted in the republic. Chances of light precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain, sometimes up to moderate.

In some areas, ice, wet snow build-up on wires and trees, ice on some parts of roads. The wind will be south-eastern with the transition to the south-western 5-10 meters per second, gusts up to 17 meters per second in some places.

The temperatures at night will be of 0 to - 5 C, during the day it will get slightly warmer - from - 2 to + 3 C.

There are chances of fog at night and in the morning.

In Ufa, cloudy weather is expected. At night, there will be small precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain, during the day increasing to moderate, sleet in places, wet snow build-up on wires and trees, and icy roads. The wind will be south-eastern with the transition to the south-western 5-10 meters per second. Ufa at night will face minimum temperatures of 0 C, during the day - from 0 to plus 2 C.
