All schools and kindergartens are operating normally in Bashkiria this week - Ministry of Education

All educational organizations of the republic, including kindergartens, will work normally. However, they must take into account all the requirements of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare in order to prevent coronavirus. This was stated by the Minister of Education and Science of Bashkortostan Aibulat Khazhin.

In the event that children with increased body temperature and other typical symptoms are identified, they will be sent for examination to medical institutions.

"This week before the start of school holidays, we are working normally," Aibulat Khazhin emphasized at a government briefing on the prevention of coronavirus infection and the current situation in the region.

Besides, a decision was made in Bashkiria to terminate mass events with the participation of children.

The Regional Ministry of Education and Science recommends that schools refrain from mass, organized trips outside Bashkiria and Russia," both during this school week and during the vacation period".

Parents are also advised not to take their children outside of Russia, especially to countries that are disadvantaged by coronavirus infection.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the upcoming spring school holidays in Bashkiria could be extended.
