ARVI incidence remains above epidemic threshold in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections remains above the epidemic threshold - by 1.9%.

According to the regional Rospotrebnadzor, 27 965 cases of flu and acute respiratory viral infections were registered in the republic, including 16 715 cases in children over the past week from March 2 to 8. Compared with the previous week, the incidence decreased by 4.9%. Exceeding epidemic thresholds is observed only among adults.

In Ufa over a week, more than 8 thousand people fell ill, including 3 thousand children. Incidence decreased by 3.8%.

Due to the incidence as of March 9, three schools and partially two groups in one kindergarten were completely quarantined in the republic.
