Second Feminist Festival "FemBairam" will be held in Ufa

On March 8 and 9, Ufa will host FemBairam. For two festival days, lectures and lessons will be given, a self-defense master class and a swap party will be held, and feminist films will be screened at the "Oblaka" Center for Contemporary Art.

This is not the first time the festival has been held in Ufa. Last year, FemBairam also took place on International Women's Day.

The program includes lectures on gender, urban feminism, women's street art, and various masterclasses, including self-defense, which will be conducted by a candidate for master of sports in judo and sambo. The organizers report that they will make an exhibition of the feminist posters, and the second exhibition "Room of Fear", remains a secret.

#swap party - a free exchange of things: books, toys, clothes, jewelry, cosmetics, perfumes will take place on March 8. The organizers ask the participants of the festival to respect each other and bring things with an actual shelf life, clean and whole clothes without pills and stains.
