Low readiness to coronavirus

Experts told about Russia's low preparedness for the coronavirus epidemic. According to them, in Bashkiria, the infectious departments will be able to admit only 33% of the population.
FinExpertiza specialists evaluated the readiness of medical institutions in Russia for the coronavirus epidemic. It turned out that in hospitals, there is a shortage of beds in infectious wards, NEWS.ru reports. In this case, residents of Moscow and the Moscow region will be in the hardest situation in the event of an epidemic. In the capital, there are five people per bed, and in the region - 4. Based on these data, only one out of three people in case of an epidemic will be able to count on hospitalization in the Russian Federation. "In Tatarstan, the infectious wards will have enough beds for 22% of the population, in the Krasnodar Territory and Bashkortostan – for 33%," the report says. In total, hospitals may lack more than 7 million needed beds in an epidemic. Now more than 75 thousand people are infected with the coronavirus in the world, more than 2000 have died, NEWS.ru added.
