Estimated pollutant emissions into air will be 930 thousand tons in Bashkiria

According to the forecast, the volume of pollutant emissions into the atmospheric air will be 930 thousand tons in Bashkiria in 2019. The exact figure of how many emissions actually occurred will be known closer to April, after the calculations of Rosprirodnadzor, the Ministry of Ecology RB reported.

In general, over the past five years, annual emissions of pollutants into the air in the republic have remained stable, it was reported at a session in the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology RB.

So, in 2018, the pollutant emissions into the atmospheric air amounted to 885 thousand tons. Enterprises of the fuel and energy complex: oil-producing, oil refining, petrochemical, and electric power plants are the most hazardous for atmospheric air.

Last year, in order to reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, more than 60 air protection measures were carried out. The overall environmental effect of their implementation amounted to about 59 thousand tons, while the enterprises spent more than 3.5 million rubles of their funds for it.
