Three representatives of Bashkortostan were awarded the Russian Prize for the development of Wikimedia projects. This was reported by the organizers of the "All-Scientific Forum 2020", held in Moscow last weekend.
For the second year in a row, the Wiki Prize for the most significant contribution to the development of the Bashkir Wikipedia is received by the veteran of republican journalism Ansar Nuretdinov from Beloretsk. Last year, he devoted 362 days to his hobby and made about 20 thousand editorial corrections, correcting the outdated information. The Wiki Prize was established in 2011 by the non-profit partnership Wikimedia RU. Since 2014, it has also been awarded to Wikipedia leaders in Russian languages, the administrator of the Bashkir Wikipedia, Rustam Nuryev, said.
