More than one thousand people came to first gastronomic festival "Birskie Dumplings"

The first gastronomic festival dedicated to the brand of the city "Birskie Dumplings" was held at Market Square of the city of Birsk.

The guests of the holiday took part in a tasting of products by the main manufacturers - the "Three Dumplings" competition and also purchased dumplings for future use. Test purchase, a competition for the best ditty about dumplings and performances of folk groups took place there.

Shortly before the festival, the organizers held a "My family makes dumplings" video contest on social media.

"The main task is the branding of our hometown and the promotion of dumplings producers. Five enterprises, more than 20 reenactors of Birsk and Ufa, and folklore groups of the city and the district took part in the festival. There are plans to hold a large-scale festival on New Year's holidays at the beginning of 2021," said the organizer of the festival, the head of the "Birsk Archers" Ruslan Hamidullin.

As the visitor to the festival, co-organizer of the crayfish festival, blogger and traveler Rina Greenberg, noted, "beautiful nature, interesting cities, historical sites are meaningless in themselves. Only personal experience, impressions, knowledge fill them with meaning."

“The city of Birsk is more fortunate than any other city of Bashkiria. It has communities that can negotiate and work together on projects. Moreover, these are developing communities; they are promising as they unite participants of different ages, including youth. The city is beautiful, with fine landscapes, engaging stories, and historical sites,” she posted on her social media.
