Bashkiria has retained its place in regions ranking in terms of life quality

The best regions of Russia in quality of life are named. Moscow and St. Petersburg hold the first positions in the regional ranking on the quality of life for 2019, and Bashkortostan retained its 25th place.
The Jewish Autonomous Region, Karachay-Cherkessia, and Tuva close the rating, according to the results of a RIA Novosti study.
The rating of the quality of life of the population in the Russian regions was based on the integrated 70 indicators that record the actual state of living conditions and the situation in the social sphere. A rating score was calculated based on them, which acts as an assessment of inter-regional differences and a ranking criterion for regions.
The Republic of Bashkortostan takes 25th place in the Ria.ru infographic “Russian Regions with the Most Favorable Living Conditions”, as in 2018. The rating score - 50 (possible minimum - one, possible maximum - 100). RIA Rating calculations are made according to the Federal State Statistics Service, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank, and other open sources.
The first positions in the rating are still held by Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Moscow Region with a combined score of over 70. According to experts, this situation will not change in the coming years. Infrastructure development, a high level of economic and social development, together with a high potential for further development, allows these regions to gain a foothold in the ranking top for a long time.
They are followed by Tatarstan - fourth place (66 points), Belgorod region (63 points) - fifth, as well as regions: Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh, Leningrad and Kaliningrad Regions, and Ugra. Compared with the previous rating, the composition of the top ten has changed by one region: the Leningrad region rose by three points, taking the eighth position, and the Lipetsk region fell by two points and takes 11th place.
According to the study, the last places are occupied by North Ossetia, Buryatia, Kalmykia, Ingushetia, Altai Republic, Kurgan Region, Trans-Baikal Territory, Jewish Autonomous Region, Karachay-Cherkessia, and Tuva. The common factors affecting the composition of the last ten were the low level of socio-economic development, the lag in the income of residents, and the high unemployment rate.
The aggregate rating score increased in 51 regions and decreased in 34. At the same time, the change in score was insignificant in most regions. The first and last dozens of regions remained virtually unchanged. Some changes took place in the middle of the list, but the positions of most regions did not change significantly.
