UFA, 12 February 2020. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
The Plenipotentiary Representative Office of Bashkortostan under the President of the Russian Federation hosted a grand opening of the paintings exhibition "Seven Girls."
The opening of the exhibition was attended by members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma, representatives of the Moscow Government, creative intelligentsia, and the Bashkir community.
The creative project "Seven Girls" brought together the work of seven different artists - Liana Mkrtchyan, Raushaniya Badretdinova, Rinat Minnebaev, Rafael Kadyrov, Rasikh Akhmetvaliev, Amir Mazitov, Jamil Suleymanov. Each of them presented their embodiment of the folk legend of the seven fearless sisters. The author and ideological inspirer of the project was the wife of the head of Bashkortostan Karine Khabirova. She developed a general concept and selected works.
"Many thanks to our artists who responded to this project," Karine Khabirova addressed the audience. "The idea was that each artist representing a particular region of the republic should present his/her image of a girl from the folk legend "Seven Girls". It turned out very diverse and unusual. "
The concert program featured Alsou, Honored Artist of Russia, Fayzi Gaskarov State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble, creative groups of the Bashkir Cultural Center of Moscow, student of the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music Galsar Baiguskarova.
