Citizens from China will be brought to quarantine facility near Ufa only in case of overflow of station in Tyumen

Persons arriving from China will be accommodated in a quarantine facility near Ufa only if the federal facility in Tyumen is overcrowded.

Previously, all constituent entities of Russia were obliged to create observation facilities for preventing the importation of a new coronavirus and temporary medical monitoring of healthy individuals traveling outside the quarantine zone. In Bashkiria, the quarantine facility, as a reserve quarantine point, was arranged in the "Rodnik Zdorovya" health care center in the Ufa district.

As the deputy chairman of the Republican State Committee for Emergency Situations, Alexander Lopukhov noted, there were no plans to place sick people in the health care center.

"The 4th Infectious Diseases Hospital will treat patients. Healthy people will stay there, who hypothetically can come to us from the zone of coronavirus infection of the PRC for a 14-day quarantine under the strict supervision of medical staff. At the end of the quarantine, they will go home. This is done to exclude any possibility of the coronavirus importation to the republic and its spread," Proural publication cites the official.

It is also specified that the "Rodnik Zdorovya" health care center continues to work in a routine mode, there are visitors.
