Coronavirus quarantine zone for tourists from China to be created in Bashkiria

A coronavirus quarantine zone will be created 25 kilometers from the center of Ufa. It became known on February 10 at a briefing session in the government of the republic.

Sanatorium "Rodnik Zdorovya" will become a quarantine zone for tourists arriving from China to Bashkiria, said Alexander Zherebtsov, deputy director of the regional department of the Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare). It is located 25 kilometers from the center of Ufa, in the village of Nizhegorodka, Ufa district. Specialists will supervise those admitted to the facility.

It is reported that the State Transport Committee RB is also introducing additional measures to prevent this disease. The carriers of the region are obliged to supply medical masks, gloves, and skin antiseptics to all those who work with passengers.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the World Health Organization announced a decrease in the spread of coronavirus.
