Virus infection was discovered in citizens arriving from China in Bashkiria

In the territory of Bashkortostan, 25 cases of acute respiratory viral infection were reported from citizens arriving from China, said the deputy head of the Rospotrebnadzor in Bashkortostan Alexander Zherebtsov at a meeting of the operational headquarters to prevent the importation and spread of coronavirus infection.

Of these, 15 are residents of Ufa, 7 from the cities of Uchaly, Sibay, Oktyabrsky, Beloretsk, Sterlitamak, Meleuz, Tuimazy. As of February 5, five patients received negative results of a study on coronavirus infection. Of these, two were discharged. The rest continue treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 4 and the infectious disease departments in their cities.

All passengers of Sanya-Ufa flights are under medical followup at their local medical organizations.

It should be reminded that on January 30, a flight from China with 348 passengers arrived in Ufa. 303 people were examined, this is 211 residents of Bashkortostan and 92 residents of 14 constituent entities of Russia. On February 3, another aircraft arrived from China with 368 passengers. 359 people were examined, including 120 residents of the republic, 158 departed on the same board to Kazan.

Since January 30, a total of 716 people who returned from the PRC have been examined, of which 331 are citizens of Bashkortostan, three are citizens of Latvia, and Portugal and the rest are residents of other subjects of the Russian Federation. 662 people had tests run. All coronavirus research results are negative.

According to the latest data, as of February 5, 24,363 cases of new coronavirus infection were registered in the People's Republic of China. Cases with a fatal outcome are 491, mortality rate - 2%. 3,219 people are in serious condition, 892 were discharged. In addition to the PRC, 190 cases of the disease were registered in 24 countries, including two cases in the Russian Federation - in Trans-Baikal and the Tyumen region.
