Cold snap is forecasted in Bashkiria

A sharp change of weather pattern is again expected in Bashkiria as well as throughout the European territory of Russia in the coming days. Freezing air from the Barents Sea will begin to flow into the regions.

In the first half of the week, wet snow is forecasted, on some days increasing to heavy snowfall in some places.

From Tuesday, February 5, the air temperatures will begin to drop. At night it will be -7, -12 C, in the bright intervals up to -17 C, during the day -4, -9 C.

On February 6, in the northern regions at night, the temperatures will fall to -12, -17 C, in the daytime, -5, -10 C, in the southern part of the region at night -3, -8 C, in the daytime 0, -5 C, the Bashkir Met Office informs.

Gradually, the temperature background will approach the usual values of February.

According to the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, by the coming weekend, Bashkortostan will be facing lows of -11 C by day, and -20 C by night.
