Currently, 11 schools and one kindergarten have completely quarantined quarantine in Bashkiria due to a large number of people with influenza and SARS, the acting head of the Surveillance Department of the Rospotrebnadzor Directorate in Bashkortostan Republic Zukhra Shagieva told on Vesti-Bashkortostan program.
The day before, the supervisory authority announced the onset of an influenza epidemic and acute respiratory infection in the republic, the Bashinform News Agency reported. The epidemic threshold in Bashkortostan has already been exceeded by 35%. Over the past week alone, 27.5 thousand residents fell ill in the region, of which 70% were children.
