Special vehicles will work until Friday twenty-four-hour due to snowfall in Bashkiria

Nasty weather continues in Bashkiria. The head of the republican State Transport Committee Timur Mukhametyanov, gathered a briefing session on cleaning roads in the southern regions of the region. According to the press service of the department, a decision was made to start the operational headquarters at the Bashkir Public Roads Administration.

“Round-the-clock duty is organized at the sites of district road repair departments. An increased fleet of vehicles is used at cleaning snow on regional, inter-municipal and local roads. Moreover, at least one rotary snowplow is available in each of the districts, and there are three of them in the Zianchurinsky district. At the same time, the transfer of additional tractors, combined snowplows, and rotary snowplows from the northern regions of the republic began”, the state committee informs.

Now 1,100 special vehicles are operating in the republic. The operational headquarters will work around the clock until Friday inclusive.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that snowfall returned to Bashkiria after a short break.
