Sovetskaya Square view after future reconstruction in Ufa

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov, on his social media, published a visualization of the reconstruction project of Sovetskaya Square in Ufa.

“Our famous and beloved Sovetskaya Square should not be just a parking lot. This is the center of the city, and this is the place from which in the distant March of 1942, the horsemen of the Shaimuratov’s guard division went to the front,” Radiy Khabirov wrote.

During the reconstruction, by 2021, it is planned to repair the facades of adjacent buildings; a monument to General Shaimuratov will be installed in the center.

The project provides for dry pedestrian fountains (without bowls), abundant vegetation - trees and shrubs. According to the presented visualization, not only Sovetskaya Square itself will be renovated but also the adjacent territory.

It is planned that by the end of the year, the area will look like in this video.

“Then the whole square will play out in fresh colors and become another place of attraction for citizens,” Radiy Khabirov posted.
