Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov instructed to check living conditions of veterans

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov instructed local officials to check the living conditions of veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

“There are very few participants in the war, veterans. Their number is estimated in hundreds. We found a veteran of the Bashkir Cavalry Division in the Mishkinsky district. He lives poorly; amenities are outside. We should all together help him to arrange basic living conditions”, Radiy Khabirov addressed the heads of municipalities at a briefing session on Monday, February 3.

He instructed to scrutinize the living conditions and provide assistance to veterans. He also recalled the need to work with military memorials and burials, to restore order in settlements as part of the announced “Year of Accomplishment”.

“Folkloriada is coming, representatives of 85 countries will come to Bashkiria. Each district will be a participant in this event. There is nothing wrong with cleaning up. Moreover, it is also necessary to start preparing locally - plan cleaning, laying asphalt, remove old equipment,” said Radiy Khabirov.
