Innovative waste recycling plant will appear in Sibay

It is planned to build a new waste recycling plant with non-waste technology in the city of Sibay. According to the State Duma deputy from United Russia, the head of the working group on the implementation of the “Ecology” national project in the Republic of Bashkortostan Zarif Baiguskarov, it will be the first enterprise of its kind in the country.

On January 28, during a meeting on the implementation of the national project, the parliamentarian spoke about the experience of other regions with functioning waste processing enterprises.

“In November last year, a working group and I visited two plants for waste sorting and recycling in Nizhny Novgorod. The company operates around the clock, imported equipment is installed there, the work is automated in such a way that only two people control the entire process, ”said Zarif Baiguskarov.

The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and departments, as well as deputies of different levels. The conversation concerned the problems of landfill liquidation and the construction of new waste sorting complexes.

Until 2024, the republic plans to build 16 municipal solid waste processing complexes and three MSW disposal facilities: in Davlekanovsky district and the city of Sterlitamak. Within the framework of the national project, 24 unauthorized landfills in cities will be liquidated by 2024, including the three most hazardous sites - the Mikhailovskaya industrial waste dump in Sterlitamaksky district, the Semenovsky gold recovery plant in Baymaksky district and sludge collectors in the territory of the former “Khimprom” plant in Ufa.
