Since January 28, the reception of organized tourist groups from China has been suspended in Russia due to the spread of the new coronavirus, the ”Moscow” City News Agency reported, citing a statement by Yury Barzykin, vice president of the Russian Union of Travel Industry.

The last groups of tourists from China were received in Russia on January 27.

“Russian tour operators are stopping the reception of next organized groups from China since Tuesday until the situation normalizes, tentatively until the end of February. The decision was made to prevent the spread of a new type of coronavirus. Chinese authorities have instructed the regions to ban travel since Monday, but the process delayed in some provinces. All Chinese group trips to Russia have been stopped, ”Yuri Barzykin told the agency.

In turn, the Chinese authorities have limited the sending of tourist groups abroad to prevent the spread of the virus.

As the Bashinform News Agency reported, in connection with the spread of the new coronavirus, all passengers arriving at the Ufa airport from abroad are checked by employees of Rospotrebnadzor. To this end, enhanced double control of passengers is carried out using stationary and portable thermal imaging equipment.

According to Meduza, in China, as of the evening of January 27, 106 people died from the new type of coronavirus 2019-nCoV. It was reported by Xinhua News Agency, citing the National Health Commission. 4,515 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in 30 regions of China. The virus is suspected in 6973 people more. 60 people were discharged from the hospital. 44132 people who were in contact with the patients remain under medical supervision. Another 914 people communicating with the sick were discharged.
