Competencies in digital area were formed in Bashkiria - Radiy Khabirov

Strong competencies in the digital area were formed in Bashkiria. The first thousand specialists from our republic have begun advanced training on the project of free training in digital competencies. This was posted by the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov on his Facebook page.

In total, 5 thousand training certificates were issued in the country, along with Bashkiria, four more regions are participating in the pilot project - Tatarstan, Yakutia, Rostov and Tula regions. Each educational program costs up to 50 thousand rubles.

“If earlier our IT specialists and employees of related specialties had to pay for their additional education themselves, now the digital certificate fully covers these costs from the federal budget. The most popular areas are “Artificial Intelligence” and “Big Data in the Digital Economy,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Training is conducted remotely in 33 educational organizations; almost half of them are located in Bashkiria.

“This suggests that we have developed strong competencies in the sphere of digital technologies. Moreover, participants from other regions enrolled for training in our universities. Upon graduation, they will receive specialist certificates. Applications for the next round may be submitted in March on the website of digitalcertificate.rf. Our region, as well as throughout the country, is extremely short of IT specialists. Digitalization is now actively going on in almost all areas. I am sure that this program will help us not only consolidate our specialists but also attract them from other regions”, Radiy Khabirov underlined.
