Wet snow, ice, blizzard: Bashkiria Emergencies Ministry warns of nasty weather

The Ministry of Emergencies of Bashkiria warns residents of the region about a set of adverse weather events. From January 22 to 23, blizzards, sleet formation on wires and trees, ice, packed snow, gusts of wind up to 16-21 m/s in places, visibility deterioration up to 500 meters places are expected in the region.

According to weather forecasts, cloudy weather is expected in the coming days. At night, light wet snow showers, in some places to moderate, during the day, precipitation in the form of snow and rain. Occasional blizzards, sleet formation on wires and trees, ice, sleet on the roads, packed snow are likely. Wind will be southwestern, western 9-14 m/s, in places with gusts up to 16-21 m/s. The air temperature at night will be -1, -6 C, during the day + 1, -4 C. Visibility deterioration of up to 500 meters or less in some parts of roads.

In Ufa, cloudy weather is forecasted. At night light wet snow showers, in the morning and afternoon rain and snow in places, snow deposits, and slush build-up on wires and trees, ice, sleet on the roads, packed snow. Wind will be south-western, western 9-14 m/s, gusts in places up to 18 m/s. The air temperature at night will be -1, -3 C, during the day about 0.
