Weekly epidemic threshold for influenza is exceeded in Ufa

With each week, the proportion of influenza viruses against other respiratory viruses is increasing weekly in Russia. Nevertheless, so far, Rospotrebnadzor of Russia refers to the incidence of influenza and SARS – as low.

“A slight excess of weekly epidemic thresholds among the population as a whole was registered in the Astrakhan region and Altai Territory, as well as in three central cities - Orenburg, Stavropol, and Ufa,” the press service of the department specified.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor planned to vaccinate 45% of the population from colds viruses.
