Gulnur Kulsarina: Women should not abstain from political activities

Today, deputies of the Kiginsky district council unanimously supported the candidacy of Zukhra Gordienko and appointed her the Interim Head of the district administration. For the first time in the recent history of Bashkortostan, a woman was elected the head of the rural region. Her candidacy to the deputies of the local council was presented by the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, who noted her business and professional qualities.

Gulnur Kulsarina, Chairman of the Bashkir Women Society RB, deputy of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB, said that the Bashkir Women Society supported the initiative of the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov to trust women with taking serious and responsible positions.

“It is gratifying that in the modern period, many emerging stereotypes are beginning to be reassessed in our society. In order for a person to become a good leader, they, regardless of gender, must have special qualities. Strength of character, personal responsibility for the result, a business sense, high ability to work, ambition, ability to inspire and lead a team - all that is called the makings of a leader. These abilities are inherent in both men and women. Therefore I am firmly convinced that women should not abstain from the social and political life of the state,” Gulnur Kulsarina commented on the matter in the interview with the Bashinform News Agency.
