Peace and Tolerance Center opened in Ufa

Today, December 27, a cultural and educational Peace and Tolerance Center has opened at the College of Architecture, Construction and Public Utilities. A grant of the Head of the Republic in the amount of 800 thousand rubles was allocated to it. Grants of the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan for non-profit organizations have been allocated on a competitive basis since 2019. This is one of the first completed projects under this grant program.

The initiators of the project are the Bashkir Republican Organization of the All-Russian Children and Youth Public Movement «School of Security» together with the Volunteer Anti-Drug Movement of the Republic.

The center is a cultural and educational space for promoting peace and cooperation, for establishing a positive dialogue between people of different cultures, religions, worldviews.

The center consists of three venues: an exhibition exposition, the cultural and educational center itself, a children's center and the “LADushki” family coworking.

The exhibition, its exhibits, and architectural and decoration are focused on creating an interaction between visitors and artists on the pressing problems of modern society.

The educational programs of the Peace and Tolerance Center are connected with the exhibition. Themed film screenings, creative meetings, and discussions with prominent representatives of the cultural community of the republic, Russia will be held here. The program of the Center will allow getting comprehensive additional education.

Children's projects and family coworking "LADushki" will host children's projects - an entertaining quest, creative workshops, classes on the development of interethnic harmony and tolerance, art classes, educational and developmental programs, national holidays, and children's exhibitions.
