First modular rural health station opened in Aurgazinsky district of Bashkiria

A modular midwifery station, first in the Aurgazinsky district, opened in the village of Stepanovka. The station will serve another five villages: Aleksandrovka, Maryanovka, Nazmutdinovka, Dobrovolnoe, and Tereshkovka, where about 1 thousand people live, of which 167 are children.
“The modular station meets all modern requirements and sanitary standards. It is provided with cold and hot water supply, electric heating, ventilation. According to the equipment standards, it has the necessary medical instruments and equipment, allowing patients to be examined by a paramedic, midwife and visiting teams of doctors from the central regional hospital. The premises include a paramedic office, an examination room, a treatment room, a waiting area for patients, a utility unit and toilet facilities. All comfortable conditions are created for serving the population, including those with disabilities”, the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria reported.
In the framework of the "Primary Health Care Development" regional project, 28 rural health stations are being constructed in 2019 (22 - with funds from the republican budget, 6 - with the federal budget). In 2020, 72 dilapidated midwiferies are to be replaced; per 15 stations in 2021 and 2022.
