Republican mathematical boarding school will be built in Ufa Sipailovo

A republican lyceum boarding school for gifted children in the field of mathematics and information technology will be built in the Ufa Sipailovo neighborhood, Bashkortostan Education Minister Aibulat Khazhin said today at the “Education Hour” session.

Construction of the facility will begin next year. The boarding school will welcome its students in 2021.

The lyceum will be located on the Embankment of the Ufa River.

The idea to open a mathematical school in the republic belongs to famous teachers Mikhail Sakhanevich and Alexander Stolyarov. According to the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, the lyceum should become a school of the 21st century.
