Since new year ambulance doctors will be assisted with housing purchase in Ufa

In Ufa, doctors and paramedics will be assisted with the housing purchase. Alfira Bakieva, the managing director of the capital’s administration, spoke about the procedure for providing compensatory payments at a meeting of the City Council yesterday.

According to the program, workers who came to work in emergency medical services after January 1, 2020, will be able to receive payments for the purchase of housing. Doctors will be paid 500 thousand rubles, paramedics - 350 thousand rubles. Payments will be made in installments over five years of work: for 36, 48 and 60 months of work.

The program participants should not work in the emergency medical services from January 1 to December 31, 2019, and have no obligations related to targeted training.

According to authorities, compensation will help solve the problem of staff shortages in the ambulance service.

As of October 1, 2019, the staffing of doctors at the ambulance station amounted to 64.7%, paramedics - 67.7%. On average, 74 round-the-clock teams leave for calls in the city daily.
