Ufa emergency aid hospital received new equipment due to national healthcare project

Thanks to the implementation of the “Healthcare” national project, the emergency aid hospital in Ufa received a modern set of simulators for active and passive rehabilitation of the lower and upper limbs. About 150 patients have taken rehabilitation procedures on new equipment to date.

“Mechanotherapeutic simulators are designed to restore motor activity, coordinate the movements of patients,” the press service of the republican Ministry of Health explained. “The system is based on imitating the movements of the arms and shoulders, including both simple movements and fine motor skills.”

The exercise machines are used for those who have suffered a stroke, received injuries of the upper extremities, spinal cord. Besides, the same set of simulators can be used for neurological diseases and for diseases associated with a partial loss of motor function of the upper limbs.

The National Healthcare project was developed on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
