Almost half of Bashkiria residents were vaccinated against influenza

A seasonal increase in the incidence of acute respiratory infections is recorded in the territory of Bashkortostan, influenza is not registered. The incidence rate remains below the epidemic threshold, the press service of the regional Rospotrebnadzor informs.

A vaccination campaign against influenza continues in the republic. As of December 13, 46.6% of the republic’s population was vaccinated against influenza: 1,888,616, of which 1,741.9 thousand were adults and 372 thousand were children. 146 644 people were vaccinated Including at the expense of additional funds.

“Available influenza vaccines provide protection against strains of the virus that are most relevant in this epidemiological season,” the agency explained.
