Radiy Khabirov presented grants to young rural teachers

On December 12, in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov presented the first grants to young teachers who work in villages.
A grant of 600 thousand rubles was established in July 2019 in order to support young, promising rural teachers. Next year, 2020, it is planned to increase the number of grants to 150. Radiy Khabirov also awarded education workers with state awards of the republic.
“You do a lot for the republic, for our children. We have big plans for the construction of new facilities, the introduction of new technologies in schools”, the head of the republic said. “I propose to discuss with the pedagogical community the further development of the education system in February 2020. As for the support of rural teachers, we will continue to do so. As the circumstances require, we are ready to increase the number of grants so that we have young teachers in the villages”.
According to the Decree of the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov, 100 grants are awarded annually on a competitive basis since July 1, 2019. Teachers under the age of 35 inclusive, working for at least two years in general education organizations located in rural settlements, with population not more 10,000 people, can apply for them.
