Forecasters told about the abnormally warm weather in Bashkiria and gave a forecast for the upcoming weekend. “The past days of December in the republic turned out to be warm, and since December 6 - anomalously warm. Daily average air temperatures exceeded their usual values by 8-12 degrees. Thus, on December 9, at the Ufa-Dema weather station, the maximum air temperature increased to +4.2 C, having approached the absolute maximum of 2008, which is +4.5 degrees”, the Bashkir Met Center website reported.

Such high-temperature weather pattern is determined by the warm Atlantic air masses that dominate in the European part of Russia and the Urals. But at the end of the week and on weekends, weather conditions will change. The cooler air mass will come to the territory of the republic, meteorologists informed.

“Moderately frosty weather will be observed, temperatures will reach its usual values. On December 12, snow showers of varying intensity will be expected in the zone of the atmospheric front, ”the experts specified.
