Main city New-Year Trees will open in Ufa tonight

Tonight the grand opening of the capital's main New-Year Trees will take place - in Lenin Square, Salavat Yulaev Square and Sovetskaya Square.

According to the press service of the Ufa City Hall, various competitions, games, and round dances are planned for all these areas.

The ice town is decorated with a real green 30-meter beauty in Lenin Square. Its official opening will take place today at 6 pm.

“Architectural lighting and light structures were used in the design of the ice town. This year, Ufa residents will be able to admire the New Year's illumination installations by the world-famous Italian architect of the world and artist Valerio Festi, whose works decorated Paris, Istanbul, Moscow and other cities”, the Ufa administration noted.

Another real, 28-meter spruce is installed in Sovetskaya Square. The last time the New-Year Tree was here eight years ago. This year it was decided to renew the tradition.

The grand opening of this New-Year Tree begins at 19.30.

In the Salavat Yulaev Square, next to the Toratau Congress Hall, artificial pixel New-Year Tree 32 meters high is installed. Its main advantage is the ability to display any images, text, including sound.

As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, more than 100 sites for New-Year Tree markets were prepared in Ufa.
