Copy of Bashkir village of 18-19 centuries will be built in Bashkir Nature Park "Zilim"

In the Ministry of Ecology of Bashkiria, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Directorate for specially protected natural territories of the republic and representatives of the tourism industry of the Gafuriysky region, where they identified the development vector of the Zilim Nature Park.

The nature park is organized to preserve unique natural complexes, rare species of animals and plants, and organize recreation and tourism. A unique natural site with an area of ​​36 thousand hectares has a unique environmental, scientific, historical, cultural, ethnographic significance. There are the highest cliffs in its territory - Mambet and Kuzganak, as well as the longest cave in the Urals "Pobeda" (Kinderlinskaya). There are 147 caves on the Zilim River, which is 16% of all caves in the mountainous part of Bashkiria. Here rare plants are well preserved; there a large number of rare species of animals in need of protection.

As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, the financing of the project was approved from January 1, 2019, under the Ecology and Natural Resources program. 16.6 million rubles were allocated for the arrangement of the park.

“The tourism component of the Zilim Nature Park should include several major positions,” said Marat Khasanov, director of the Directorate for Protected Areas RB. “This is the construction of a copy of the Bashkir village at the turn of the 18th-19th centuries, with folk crafts, souvenir crafts, live concert performances, national cuisine, organized tours to the Kinderlinsky cave, to the rocks of Mambet, Kuzgenak and other unique natural sites, rafting on the Zilim river, beekeeping, production of honey and its sale to visitors to the park, the development of a network of tourist centers and shelters, with radial walking routes. And the centerpiece in the implementation of all the proposed activities should be assigned to the business, which will attract not only Russian but also foreign tourists, and develop the tourism infrastructure of the region.”

During the meeting, the participants were invited to start work with the concept of business activity within the framework of the approved provision on the park and the adoption of clear and transparent rules of work, a number of solutions to the problems of logistics and waste collection, approval of routes for driving through the park for fans of extreme riding were announced.
