New Year's Ufa will be decorated with illumination mounted by Italian specialists

They began to decorate and equip the ice town at Lenin Square in Ufa - the traditional site of folk New-Year festivities. According to the press service of the city hall, ice boards for future sculptures were brought to the site in front of the 30-meter New Year’s Tree.

Architectural lighting and light structures are used in the design of the site. This year, Ufa residents and guests of the city will be able to admire the New Year's illumination installations by the world-famous Italian architect and artist Valerio Festi, whose works decorated Paris, Istanbul, Moscow and other cities.

According to the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, one of the largest enterprises of the republic presented this illumination to the city.

“As you remember, we planned to make our cities especially beautiful for this New Year. In Ufa and Sterlitamak, we are assisted by the world-famous company Festi Group, which decorates the largest holidays, the opening of olympiads, and other events of a similar scale around the world. See how beautiful it will be! You will feel the New Year vibe very soon”, the head of the region posted on social media.

Sandro Trankina, CEO of the Italian company Festi Group, personally inspected the progress of work in Ufa. A group of specialists from Italy is working on the installation of illumination in conjunction with the municipal enterprise Ufagorsvet.

The installations, created according to the sketches of the Italian architect, will decorate the square in front of the Ordzhonikidze Palace, the pedestrian area of Lenin Street and the entrance to the Lenin Park on Zaki Validi Street. The main installation work is scheduled to be completed by December 10.

On the square in front of the Ufa administration frames of ice slides are already installed - there will be two of them, by tradition. The ice town will be decorated with a symbol of the coming year according to the eastern calendar. For the safety of children and adults, the sides of the slides and sculptures will be made with rounded corners. All holiday venues and towns will be monitored by the city Public Safety Center, together with law enforcement agencies.

Soon, the installation of the New Year's artificial pixel tree will begin in the Salavat Yulaev square.
