Ufa hit top ten Russian cities in terms of life quality

Ufa is in the top ten cities in terms of quality of life according to the rating of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. Every year, a rating of large and medium-sized cities of Russia with the highest quality of life is compiled here.

In 2019, the rating is headed by the capital of Tatarstan, Kazan. The second place went to Grozny, the third – to Tyumen. They are followed by Krasnodar, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Irkutsk, Sevastopol. Ufa and Kemerovo close the top ten.

For the analysis, the opinions of residents on different aspects of urban life were polled. People spoke about the maintenance and repair of roads, public transport, and traffic police. Opinions were also taken into account regarding the development of education and cultural infrastructure, the state of housing and the improvement of the city. The work of local authorities, the quality of medical care and the overall assessment of the situation in the city were estimated.

Based on the data collected, partial ratings were compiled for each of the areas, as well as a final rating of cities for quality of life.
