New Steinway&Sons grand piano has appeared in Bashkir Philharmonic Society as part of “Culture” national project

The Bashkir State Philharmonic Society named after H. Akhmetov purchased a Steinway&Sons grand piano. The instrument of the world-famous piano manufacturer was installed in the Great Hall of the Philharmonic. The piano was bought through a subsidy from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, as part of the implementation of the regional project "Cultural Environment" of the "Culture" national project.

“We are grateful to the Ministry of Culture of Bashkortostan for the support provided. Buying an instrument of such a company is a significant event for our republic. Not every cultural institution can boast the availability of the Steinway&Sons grand piano”, commented on Marina Lugovaya, chief specialist of the academic art development of the philharmonic.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, the cost of Steinway&Sons grand pianos instruments is very high.

On January 9, 2020, a Steinway tuner will arrive at the Philharmonic Society. On January 15, a presentation of the grand piano will take place on the stage of the Great Hall. A world-class musician, People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Lugansky will present the new instrument.
