New infant-feeding center in Neftekamsk will provide dairy products to about one thousand children

The production will provide free dairy products to about one thousand children under the age of three years living in the Krasnokamsky, Dyurtyulinsky, Yanaulsky, Birsky districts and the city of Agidel.

The production capacity is processing up to 5 tons of milk per day, which is 1.5 million servings per year.

The leadership of the Republic of Bashkortostan decided to revive the infant-feeding centers in the republic. Total, more than 150 thousand children under the age of three years living in Bashkiria, of which 26 thousand children under the age of three from low-income families have the right to receive dairy products free of charge.

Until recently, infant-feeding centers were available in our region only in Ufa. Since July 1 of this year, another center has been launched in Sterlitamak, it provides free milk products to 2.1 thousand children of the Ufimsky, Ishimbaysky, Meleuzovsky, Sterlitamaksky districts and the cities of Salavat, Kumertau, Sterlitamak. On November 20, a production facility opened in the city of Oktyabrsky, which provides dairy products to about 1.2 thousand children from Tuimazinsky, Belebeyevsky, Alsheevsky, Davlekanovsky districts and the city of Neftekamsk.

By the end of the year, another production facility in Beloretsk will start operating; in the first quarter of 2020, an infant-feeding center will open in the city of Sibay.

Since January 1, 2020, all children of the republic belonging to the special category (children from families whose per capita income is below the subsistence level per child) will be provided with free dairy products - adapted and specialized formulas, dry cereals, dairy products of infant-feeding centers and dairy products of industrial production.
