Earthquake was recorded on border of Bashkiria and Chelyabinsk region

Two small earthquake shocks were recorded on the border of Bashkiria and the Chelyabinsk region on November 18 and 19. According to the seismic station of the Kazakhstan National Data Center, the first phenomenon occurred in the Kizilsky district of the Chelyabinsk region - 18 km from Sibay. Magnitude then amounted to 2.2 units.

The next shock was recorded by seismologists on the night of November 19. Magnitude 2.5 was observed near the village of Kochnevo, Uysky district, Chelyabinsk region, not far from the Bashkir village Tungatarovo.

Earlier, the Bashinform agency reported that the last time seismic activity on the border of Bashkiria was observed in November 2018.
