Radiy Khabirov took part in Transport of Russia forum

On November 19, in Moscow, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov visited the 13th International Exhibition "Transport of Russia", held as part of the "Transport Week".
The exhibition is designed to show the results of the transport industry work over the year, to provide a dialogue between business and government to jointly solve the problems facing the transport complex of the Russian Federation. It presents large-scale infrastructure projects, innovative developments in the field of transport, products, and services of major companies in the industry.
During the forum, the Head of Bashkortostan met with the Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia - the head of Rosmorrechflot Yuri Tsvetkov. The parties discussed the project to construct the Agidel cargo river port, which would be able to receive ships of the "river-sea" class and would allow arranging export deliveries of grain, timber, and other industrial products by water. Radiy Khabirov and Yuri Tsvetkov also touched upon the restoration of river transport in the region. For this, in particular, dredging operations will be required with the support of the federal center. A possibility of reviving not only freight but also passenger river traffic was considered.
At a meeting between the head of the region and the general director - chairman of the board of JSC Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, the prospects for the development of the republic’s railway infrastructure were discussed. In particular, they talked about the modernization of railways on the southern bypass section of Ufa, the completion of the railway station reconstruction in the capital of the region, as well as the construction of new Ufa – Agidel and Sibay – Sara branches.
During negotiations with the head of Rosavtodor Andrei Kostyuk, they talked about key areas for developing the republic’s transport infrastructure and attracting federal resources for this purpose, in particular, about building a new bridge across the Belaya River in the alignment of Vorovsky Street in Ufa, as well as transferring a number of sections of regional roads under federal jurisdiction.
The development of regional air transportation and the Ufa aviation transport hub were discussed at a meeting of the Head RB with the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Neradko.
Radiy Khabirov said that in 2020, the republic allocated 180 million rubles to subsidize flights in eight directions: Orenburg, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar. The Head of Bashkortostan addressed to the Federal Air Transport Agency with a proposal to provide federal support in terms of subsidizing six more directions to expand the route network of regional transportation. Radiy Khabirov also drew attention to the need for further reconstruction of Ufa International Airport, in particular, modernization of taxiways and expansion of the apron.
