Ufa is in Top 10 smartest cities in Russia

Ufa entered the Top ten smartest Russian cities. According to analysts at Tvil.ru, who conducted a survey on social media users to World Science Day, the capital of Bashkiria is in 10th place with 1.39% of the vote.

In Ufa, several centers for the science development were designated: institutes of the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Mathematics, Physics of Molecules and Crystals, Mechanics, Petrochemistry and Catalysis, Organic Chemistry and others; Institutions of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan: Research Institute of Eye Diseases, Bashkir Encyclopedia Scientific and Publishing Complex, Center for Pipeline Transport Hydraulics, “Bioplant” Research and Production Institute of Biotransplants and Biological Products; design and research institutes of private companies: RN-UfaNIPIneft, Bashgiproneftekhim and others.

The capital of Bashkiria was behind the following cities: St. Petersburg (29.17% of the vote), Moscow (22.22%), Novosibirsk (12.55%), Kazan, Yekaterinburg (11.11% each) and Nizhny Novgorod (5.56 %), Sochi, Sevastopol (2.58% each) and Krasnoyarsk (1.39%).
