Multicultural relations development in Central Asia discussed in Ufa

In Ufa, as part of the 4th Eurasian Humanitarian Forum, a meeting of representatives of the Expert Council on the cultural and spiritual development of the Dungans of the Eurasian space was held with the participation of representatives of peoples from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and China.

The participants discussed issues of interaction and cooperation for the period up to 2020 on the formation and implementation of the research report "Dungan world of the Eurasian space." The basis for the development of this report was a decision of the “Ethnos” International Forum as a connecting element of global peace. Role and opportunities of the Dungans in the development of Eurasian integration ”, held this summer in Kazakhstan.

Throughout 2018-2019, the youth public organization “Intellectual Way” has been actively working on the development of multicultural integration in the territory of the states of the Eurasian Economic Union, examining the local environment of peoples and nationalities living in Central Asia and ensuring the harmonious development of the Eurasian space.

The meeting participants agreed that the issue of cultural development of peoples and nationalities was one of the priority aspects of state policy, especially in multinational states.

In this regard, the position of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, is constructive and promising, focusing on building a self-sufficient, educated, and healthy society with reliance on ancient history, culture, and friendship between all ethnic groups and peoples.

Following the meeting, the Intellectual Way organization and the Expert Council will continue planned work on the preparation and holding of the “Ethnos” 2nd International Forum as a connecting element of global peace in 2020 in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
